DNS 360 provides the most common tools together in one place. You can perform WHOIS, DIG and PTR lookups searched with this set of tools.

The currently supported domains for the WHOIS are .INFO, .BIZ, .ORG, .COM, .NET and .EDU. WHOIS information for the .GOV and .MIL domains are not available.

WHOIS is a database that contains information on each registered domain name. This information includes the registrant's contact information, the administrative and technical contacts, the domain name servers, the creation, expiration, and last updated dates. This information is useful when checking that the domain exists, and that the records for the name servers (DNS) have not recently changed or expired.

Pointer Record. Also called a reverse record. A PTR record associates an IP address with a canonical name. PTR records should point to a name that can be resolved back to the IP address. This is useful for trouble-shooting email and DNS issues.

American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is a non-profit registry responsible for the administration and registration of Internet Protocol (IP) numbers in North and South America, South Africa, the Caribbean and all other regions administered currently managed by Network Solutions, Inc. This lookup will tell you who controls the block of IP addresses.
